The girl turned into a beam of golden light that entered the ground. Dou Yi dug up a gold ingot from the ground. This was called “Jin Jing Tests Dou Er” to test Dou Yi’s sincerity. Today, Dou Dian in Zhuozhou County, Hebei Province, is the original hometown of the Dou family. The legend of "Shan Chen Yuan."

Dou Yanshan did good deeds and accumulated virtue, and later had five sons, all of whom succeeded. The heavens wanted to test one of his sons, Dou Yi, by sending Jin Jing in the form of a girl to tempt Dou Yi. But Dou Yi remained unmoved. Later, Dou Yi saw the girl turn into a golden light and disappear underground. He dug up a gold ingot.

Story of the Oracle Poem Two
◇ Guan Zhong Becomes Prime Minister of Qi
Guan Zhong was poor when he was young and had a close friendship with Bao Shuya. They once started a business together. During profit distribution, Guan Zhong often took more than his share, but Bao Shuya never complained and always thought of Guan Zhong's situation.
Later, when Qi and Lu went to war, Guan Zhong shot an arrow that hit the belt hook of Duke Huan of Qi. Duke Huan pretended to be dead and escaped. After Qi won the war, Bao Shuya asked Lu Zhuang Gong to execute Prince Jiu and handed Guan Zhong over to Qi.
Because Guan Zhong had once shot Duke Huan, he was angry and wanted to kill him. But Bao Shuya told Duke Huan: "If you want Qi to become strong, you should appoint Guan Zhong as prime minister and treat him like a father or elder brother. Then, the people of the country, hearing that you respect a capable person like Guan Zhong and overlook his past hatred, will certainly admire your generosity and accept your leadership."
After Bao Shuya persuaded him strongly, Duke Huan appointed Guan Zhong as prime minister and even honored him as "Uncle Zhong."
When Guan Zhong was dying, Duke Huan asked him who should be the next prime minister. Guan Zhong strongly opposed Bao Shuya, saying that although Bao Shuya was a gentleman and almost perfect, he was too pure and could not tolerate any evil, making him unsuitable for the role of prime minister. Instead, Guan Zhong recommended Xi Peng.
Yi Ya heard of this and went to Bao Shuya to spread rumors, saying, "Guan Zhong's position was recommended by you, but now that he is ill, the ruler asked about his successor, and he said you were not suitable and instead recommended Xi Peng. I think this is unfair!" Bao Shuya smiled and replied, "I recommended Guan Zhong precisely because he was loyal to the state and had no personal bias toward friends. As for me, if I were to be the chief of justice and arrest bad people, I would be more than enough. But if I were to govern the country, how could people like you have any place to stand?"
