Jin Hexagram: Duke Kang used the fine horses gifted by the King for breeding, mating them multiple times in a single day.

"The Commentaries say: 'This hexagram has the upper trigram as Li (fire, sun) and the lower trigram as Kun (earth). The sun shines upon the earth, illuminating all things.' This is the image of the Jin hexagram. The superior person observes this image and thus develops his own bright virtue.

Song Yong's River Luo Principle Interpretation:

The sun rises above the earth, and all things advance; the rewards are grand, and all plans succeed.

This hexagram consists of two different trigrams (lower Kun, upper Li) stacked together. Li represents the sun, brightness; Kun represents the earth. The sun is high in the sky, shining upon the earth, the earth is low and submissive, and all things grow, bright and open, gentle advancement upwards, symbolizing a thriving career.

Career: Smooth. One should follow the right path, face difficulties bravely, overcome enemies, and guide things wisely. Establish good interpersonal relationships and gain the support of the people.
