Foreword About Learning Tarot Cards
Welcome to "Learning Tarot" - the tutorial on Tarot cards. The full set of Tarot cards consists of 78 cards, which have been used for centuries to reveal hidden truths. In recent years, interest in Tarot cards has increased dramatically. More and more people are seeking a way to harmonize their inner and outer realities, thus making life more creative and imaginative. They discover that Tarot cards are a powerful tool for personal growth and insight.
· How does the course proceed?
In this course, my main goal is: to teach you how to use Tarot cards. Tarot cards can help you better understand yourself and teach you how to confidently release your inner power. You don't need to have "medium abilities" to effectively use Tarot cards. You just need to respect and develop your innate intuitive abilities.
The "Learning Tarot" series consists of 19 lessons, starting from basic knowledge and gradually moving into more detailed and comprehensive content. These courses are aimed at beginners, but experienced Tarot users can also find some useful ideas and techniques. Each lesson includes exercises to reinforce the learning content. Additionally, there is a chapter on "Cards", which provides descriptions of each Tarot card, which you can refer to when you are studying and practicing. Another chapter on "Spreads" introduces the method of laying out the cards. These are the main contents of the course, but there is much more to discover.
· What conditions are needed to learn Tarot cards?
The only thing you truly need is a set of Tarot cards. If you don't have one, please refer to "Buy Your First Deck of Tarot Cards" and browse the "Tarot Card Directory" chapter. There are many types of Tarot cards available today. The online version of the "Learning Tarot" course uses the most common "Rider-Waite" Tarot deck. This is a great beginner's deck because each card has pictures (not just symbols), which can help you learn. If you already have another 78-card Tarot deck, you can use your own deck. The method of using Tarot cards is basically the same, so it doesn't matter which one you use. You can now buy Tarot cards in many places, such as bookstores and certain websites. If you cannot find Tarot cards where you live, you can order a set.
· About the history of this course
I began writing this course in 1989. At that time, I had studied Tarot for several years and had some understanding of it, and knew how to use them to guide my inner self. In October 1995, I established the website. In October 1998, "Learning Tarot" was published in print.
I have used Tarot cards to read for myself, friends, relationships and understand... you may also be interested in these. Tarot cards are not difficult to learn, but you can learn a lot from them. It is simple enough to be doubted, yet rich enough to be surprising.
· How to learn?
Please start with the first lesson :)
Some people worry that using Tarot cards will involve them in mysterious events or conflict with their religious beliefs. My attitude towards Tarot cards is simple and natural. I believe that Tarot cards are not dark and mysterious, but rather a wonderful tool for self-exploration. In fact, I think Tarot cards can expand your spirit and consciousness in many positive ways.
