How to place the "ding" shape in the wedding bed in Chaoshan area

In Chaoshan weddings, the groom chooses a lucky day and time to arrange the bed. The four legs of the wedding bed should have grass seeds and coins placed underneath, forming a "ding" shape, while also reciting four sentences. This symbolizes wealth and prosperity. The day before the wedding, the groom must perform an important "bed arrangement" ceremony when setting up the new room. Choosing a lucky day for the bed arrangement is essential, as well as the direction the bed faces. After arranging the bed, the red envelope should be placed in a "ding" shape under the bed legs, symbolizing having children soon.
① When arranging the bed, it should be placed in the correct position, and it is forbidden for it to face the sharp corners of tables, wardrobes, or any other objects.
② From the time the bed is arranged until the night before the wedding, the groom-to-be must not sleep alone on the new bed. He can invite a male child with a big zodiac sign and who has not yet reached adulthood, such as someone born in the Year of the Dragon, to sleep with him.
③ Bedding items are generally chosen in red. It is required that there should be four blankets (from the bride's family dowry), four mattress pads, two pairs of pillows, two pairs of bolster cushions, and other 18 items.
