Will it snow during Dahan? Is it very cold?

During the Dahan solar term, it is deep winter, and most areas in the north will experience snowfall.
After Dahan, cold waves frequently move southward, making it the coldest period of the year for most parts of China. It is windy, with low temperatures, and the accumulated snow on the ground does not melt, presenting a severe cold scene of ice and snow, with freezing weather.
During the Dahan solar term, the atmospheric circulation is relatively stable, with an adjustment cycle of approximately 20 days. During such circulation adjustments, large-scale rain and snow weather and strong winds with temperature drops often occur. When the long-wave ridge is west of 80 degrees east longitude, and the East Asian coastal trough is present, China is controlled by the northwest airflow and constantly supplemented by cold air, leading to continuous low temperatures. Like the Xiaohan solar term, Dahan is also a solar term indicating the degree of cold weather. Although modern meteorological observations show that in some regions of China, Dahan is not as cold as Xiaohan, there are still some years and coastal areas where the lowest temperature of the year occurs during the Dahan solar term.
According to "The Seven Twenty-Three Hous of the Monthly Orders": “In the middle of the twelfth month, it is explained as before (Xiaohan).”
