How to stay healthy during this solar term
1. Pay attention to dietDuring the Summer Solstice, the body sweats more, and accordingly, salt loss also increases. If the heart muscle lacks salt, the heartbeat may become irregular. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that at this time, it is advisable to eat more sour foods to solidify the exterior, and more salty foods to nourish the heart. Therefore, it is recommended that people eat more sour and salty foods during the Summer Solstice.
2. Do sun protection work
The Summer Solstice has strong sunlight, and ultraviolet rays can easily damage the skin. When going out, sun protection measures should be taken, such as using an umbrella, wearing a sun hat, applying sunscreen, etc. In terms of clothing color, since red light has the longest wavelength, it can absorb a lot of ultraviolet rays from the sun, thus protecting the skin. Therefore, it is recommended that people wear more red clothes in summer, which has a good sun protection effect.
