Is Children's Day an International Children's Day?

Children's Day is indeed International Children's Day.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the State Council of the Central People's Government stipulated on December 23, 1949, that China's Children's Day would be unified with International Children's Day.

What is the origin of Children's Day?

Children's Day originated from the Lidice Massacre in 1942 and was established in 1949.
On June 10, 1942, Nazi forces murdered more than 140 men over the age of 16 in the village of Lidice, Czech Republic, and all the infants, while taking women and 90 children to concentration camps. All the houses and buildings in the village were burned down, and this once prosperous village was destroyed by the Nazis. After World War II, the world economy was in depression, and millions of workers were unemployed, living in poverty and cold. The situation for children was even worse. Some suffered from infectious diseases and died in batches, while others were forced to work as child laborers, enduring great suffering, without assurance of life or survival. In order to commemorate the Lidice Massacre and all children who died in wars around the world, to oppose the killing and poisoning of children, and to protect children's rights, in November 1949, the International Democratic Women's Federation held a council meeting in Moscow. Representatives from various countries angrily exposed the crimes of imperialists and reactionaries in killing and poisoning children.
To ensure the right to survival, health, and education for children around the world, and to improve children's lives, the conference decided to set June 1st of each year as International Children's Day. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the State Council of the Central People's Government stipulated on December 23, 1949, that China's Children's Day would be unified with International Children's Day.
