Five Elements Attributes of the Twelve Periods

23-01 hours is the Zi period belonging to water, 01-03 hours is the Chou period belonging to earth, 03-05 hours is the Yin period belonging to wood, 05-70 hours is the Mao period belonging to wood

The Five Elements of the Twelve Periods have yin and yang divisions, odd numbers are yang, even numbers are yin.
Yin and Mao belong to wood, Yin is yang wood, Mao is yin wood.
Si and Wu belong to fire, Wu is yang fire, Si is yin fire.
Shen and You belong to metal, Shen is yang metal, You is yin metal.
Zi and Hai belong to water, Zi is yang water, Hai is yin water.
Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei belong to earth, Chen and Xu are yang earth, Chou and Wei are yin earth. Xu and Wei are dry earth, Chou and Chen are wet earth.
Dry earth contains fire inside, and wet earth contains water inside.
