Twelve Time Periods Table
1、From 11 PM to 1 AM -- Zi Period:
Night, also known as midnight or middle night, is the first of the twelve time periods.
2、From 1 AM to 3 AM -- Chou Period:
Dawn, also called the wild rooster, is the second time period of the twelve, referring to the dark phase before dawn.
3、From 3 AM to 5 AM -- Yin Period:

4、From 5 AM to 7 AM -- Mao Period:

7、From 11 AM to 1 PM -- Wu Period:
Midday, also known as the peak of the sun or noon, is the time when the sunlight is most intense.
8、From 1 PM to 3 PM -- Wei Period:
Ri Diao, also known as the sun falling or midday, refers to the time when the sun is westward.
9、From 3 PM to 5 PM -- Shen Period:
Ren Ding, also known as the time of calm, is the time when people settle down.
10、From 5 PM to 7 PM -- You Period:
Sunset, also known as sun setting, sun sinking, or evening, means the time when the sun sets.
11、From 7 PM to 9 PM -- Xu Period:
Dusk, also known as the time of the sun, sunset, or late evening, refers to the time when the sun has set, the world is dim, and everything is blurred, hence called dusk.
