In the feng shui of office desks, people often talk about the best plant placement. With the improvement of people's high-quality life, more and more people like to place some green plants on their desks, which allows people to breathe in the fragrance released by the plants, refresh their minds, and improve work efficiency. So what kind of plants are good for feng shui on the desk? Let's follow Huayi Network to take a look.

One, the feng shui rules of placing plants on the desk

1. The East belongs to the Wood element, the Zhen hexagram, and is the source of the purple qi. Placing red flowers in the East is beneficial for those who do "brainwork", such as copywriters, editors, and all other personnel who need to think. The Northeast belongs to the Earth element, the Gen hexagram, and this direction is suitable for the younger members of the department. This year, it coincides with the position of the third blue star, so placing yellow flowers here helps prevent verbal disputes and conflicts.

2. The North belongs to the Water element, the Kan hexagram, and white flowers can be placed here. It reminds friends that this measure can effectively change the tense relationship between colleagues and superiors. The Northwest belongs to the Metal element, the Qian hexagram, and is the direction of the department's top leader. White and yellow flowers are suitable here, which can enhance the leader's authority and the unity of the entire staff.

3. The West belongs to the Metal element, the Dui hexagram. Placing white and yellow flowers in the West can increase the "sharpness" of people whose livelihood depends on "speech", such as lawyers, salespeople, and artists. The Southwest belongs to the Earth element, the Kun hexagram, and is the direction of female office leaders. Red flowers are most suitable here; people in sub-healthy conditions can try placing yellow flowers here.

4. The South belongs to the Fire element, the Li hexagram. Placing green plants in the South can enhance the personal beauty and charm of women in the office. Placing red flowers in this direction can have a certain effect on investors or those with flexible income. The Southeast belongs to the Wood element, the Xun hexagram, and is a direction that affects interpersonal relationships, love, and marriage luck. Therefore, pink is the preferred color for flowers.

(1) How to place plants on the desk

Many people like to place potted plants in their offices to beautify the environment and purify the air. However, there are some rules and considerations when placing these potted plants.

Generally, plants should be placed in the four corners of the office. This not only achieves a balanced beauty but also allows the vitality and energy of the plants to be fully utilized. In addition, placing them near the window is also a good choice because large windows often leave an empty space that is difficult to handle. This area is also where natural light is best, so placing plants here can fill the gap while allowing the plants to stretch beautifully in the sunlight. From the perspective of feng shui, placing plants in front of the window can also block the negative energy coming from outside the window. When placing potted plants, there are several things we need to pay special attention to:

1. Do not place plants in areas where people walk frequently. This not only causes inconvenience but also has a negative impact on the growth of the plants.

2. Do not place plants in the center of the office.

3. When placing potted plants in the office, they should match the overall structure and size of the office. Do not choose overly large plants, as this may create a sense of imbalance in the office.

4. If the ventilation and lighting conditions in the office are not ideal, it is better not to place plants. In offices with poor ventilation and lighting, plants may not grow well, and plants that are unhealthy and about to wither are a big taboo in feng shui. Therefore, if the office is not suitable for placing plants, you should not force it.

The feng shui of office plant placement is very complicated. Office plant placement that follows feng shui can not only make you feel refreshed every day but also help your career thrive.

(2) The relationship between office plant feng shui and the five elements

1. The South belongs to the Fire element, the Li hexagram. Placing green plants in the South can enhance the personal beauty and charm of women in the office. Placing red flowers in this direction can have a certain effect on investors or those with flexible income.

3. The Southeast belongs to the Wood element, the Xun hexagram, and is a direction that affects interpersonal relationships, love, and marriage luck. Therefore, the preferred flower color is pink.

4. The Southwest belongs to the Earth element, the Kun hexagram, and is the direction of female office leaders. The most suitable flowers are bright red ones; people in sub-healthy conditions can try placing yellow flowers here.

5. The North belongs to the Water element, the Kan hexagram, and white flowers can be placed here. This measure can effectively change the tense relationship between employees and between superiors and subordinates.

Among these, four plants are especially popular due to their strong effects and ease of cultivation, making them the preferred feng shui plants for offices.
