(1) Should not face the main door directly
If the entrance hall is considered as the company's "ming tang" (bright hall), then the front desk should not be placed directly in front of the main door. Although this design allows visitors to see the company from a distance, it can create an obstruction in the hall, preventing the flow of positive energy, which ultimately reduces the effectiveness of the open space. The best practice is to place the front desk away from the main door, but still visible to visitors from a distance outside.
