The meaning and symbolism of Labor Day

Labor Day's significance lies in workers' struggle, with their perseverance and indomitable spirit of struggle, to obtain their own legitimate rights and interests, which is a historic progress of human civilization and democracy.
Labor Day is a symbol of unity among workers worldwide. The emergence of Labor Day represents that workers in the 19th century could only carry out effective struggles for an eight-hour workday through unity. Therefore, every year on May 1st, people around the world commemorate this day of solidarity among the working class.
