What level of fate is Jian Feng Jin?
Jian Feng Jin is a type of fate in the Five Elements calculation. In the Sixty Jiazi Nayin, it corresponds to the years Ren Shen and Gui You. That is, people born in the years Ren Shen and Gui You have the "Jian Feng Jin" destiny. The corresponding years are 1992 and 1993, with the zodiac signs being Monkey and Rooster. Jian Feng Jin is the strongest metal among all types of metals, known as refined steel.Jian Feng Jin is the metal of Bai Di (White Emperor) governing, strong from hundredfold refining, its red light shines upon Dou Niu (the constellations of the Dipper and the Ox), and its white blade is frozen in frost and snow.
This metal's nature cannot be formed without water. The best configuration is when the day and time meet Da Xi Shui (Great Stream Water) or Hai Shui (Sea Water). If it meets Jing Quan Shui (Well Spring Water) or Jian Xia Shui (Brook Water), then having Pi Li Huo (Thunder Fire) or Yi Mao (Yi Mao Da Xi Shui) would be good. If there is no Thunder Fire, then it would be the configuration of "Jin Bai Shui Qing" (Golden White Water Clear).
It is even better if born in autumn. If the day and time meet Chang Liu Shui (Long Flowing Water) in Ren Chen, it is called "Bao Jian Hua Wei Qing Long" (Treasure Sword Transforms into Green Dragon). Guai Si (Gui Si) also counts, but since Guai Si is a small dragon, it lacks the spiritual power of the green dragon.
This sword cannot be flexible. However, Guai Chou (Gui Chou) is called "Jian Qi Chong Tou" (Sword Qi Piercing the Head), which is the most auspicious.
Song Bai Mu (Pine and Cypress Wood) and Yang Liu Mu (Willow Wood) are also auspicious, but they often bring separation. Da Lin Mu (Big Forest Wood) and Ping Di Mu (Flat Land Wood) are disliked because they contain earth that restricts the metal, leading to hard work and suffering.
Fire meets Shen Long (Dragon), and yin and yang meet. For example, if Ren Shen meets Ji Chou, or Gui You meets Wu Zi, it is the best configuration. If it meets Tian Shang Huo (Heavenly Fire) or Lu Zhong Huo (Furnace Fire), and there is no water for rescue, it will be disastrous.
All types of earth are not auspicious, as they bury the metal. Only Bi Shang Tu (Wall Earth) and Cheng Tou Tu (City Head Earth) are beneficial, as these two types of earth are used for sharpening and tempering the sword.
Gold prefers the same type. For example, if Ren Shen meets Ren Shen, or Gui You meets Gui You, it is good if there is wood to control it, which is called "Pan Gen Cuojie" (Twisted Roots and Branches), hence distinguishing a sharp weapon. Without wood, it leads to illness.
In general, Jian Feng Jin is the sharpest metal, suitable only for water, not for fire. If it encounters Yin Ji (Three Killings) in the year of Tiger and Snake, it is very dangerous.
Jian Feng Jin belongs to a relatively good fate. As for what level of fate it is, it needs to be analyzed based on the specific eight characters (Ba Zi).

What does Jian Feng Jin Mean?
1. Eight Characters Meet WaterIf Jian Feng Jin has no water to support it, it is not good. Therefore, a treasure sword left unused for a long time will rust without water. If the day pillar or hour pillar has Da Xi Shui (Great Stream Water) or Hai Shui (Sea Water), this configuration is auspicious. If the eight characters encounter Jing Quan Shui (Well Spring Water) or Jian Xia Shui (Brook Water), then having Pi Li Huo (Thunder Fire) or Yi Mao Da Xi Shui (Yi Mao Great Stream Water) would be good, because the Jian Feng Jin forged by thunder and lightning is a divine sword. If there is no thunder or lightning, the configuration becomes "Jin Bai Shui Qing" (Golden White Water Clear). If the day or hour pillar encounters Chang Liu Shui (Long Flowing Water) in Ren Chen, it is called "Bao Jian Hua Qing Long" (Treasure Sword Turns into Green Dragon). Gui Si also counts, but Gui Si is a small dragon, and its spiritual power is not as strong as the green dragon.
2. Eight Characters Meet Wood
For those with Jian Feng Jin, if their eight characters meet Gui Chou (Gui Chou Sandalwood), it is called "Jian Qi Chong Tou" (Sword Qi Piercing the Head), which is auspicious. At the same time, meeting Song Bai Mu (Pine and Cypress Wood) or Yang Liu Mu (Willow Wood) is also auspicious, but too much wood is not good. Meeting Da Lin Mu (Big Forest Wood) or Ping Di Mu (Flat Land Wood) brings a life of hard work. This is because Ping Di Mu and Da Di Mu contain earth.
3. Eight Characters Meet Fire
For those with Jian Feng Jin, if their eight characters meet Pi Li Huo (Thunder Fire), it is only auspicious if yin and yang balance each other. For example, if Ren Shen meets Ji Chou, or Gui You meets Wu Zi, it is the best configuration. If it meets Tian Shang Huo (Heavenly Fire) or Lu Zhong Huo (Furnace Fire), and there is no water to save it, it is bad, and the body is prone to illness.
4. Eight Characters Meet Gold
If the eight characters meet gold, the best is when it meets Jian Feng Jin. For example, if Ren Shen meets Ren Shen, or Gui You meets Gui You, it is auspicious if there is wood involved. If there is no wood, it leads to illness. This is because Jian Feng Jin is inherently strong and needs wood to control it. Among the three types of gold—Hai Zhong Jin (Sea Metal), Sha Zhong Jin (Sand Metal), and Bai La Jin (White Wax Metal)—only Yi Chou is auspicious. Chai Chuan Jin (Hairpin Metal) is already refined metal, and encountering it is auspicious. However, if there is gold that requires forging by fire, it should be avoided.
5. Eight Characters Meet Earth
Jian Feng Jin is not suitable for any type of earth, as earth can bury the metal, and the sharpness of Jian Feng Jin would be buried. Only Bi Shang Tu (Wall Earth) and Cheng Tou Tu (City Head Earth) are auspicious, as these two types of earth are used for sharpening and tempering the sword.
