Mount of Jupiter refers to a slightly raised muscle on the palm. There are seven named mounts, but since the Mount of Mars includes both First Mount of Mars and Second Mount of Mars, there are actually eight in total. The sequence of examining the mounts begins from the central area of the palm—the Mars Plain—then proceeds to the Mount of Jupiter, Mount of Saturn, Mount of the Sun, Mount of Mercury, Mount of the Moon, and finally the Mount of Venus.
Names of the Mounts:
Mount of Jupiter … located at the base of the index finger.
Mount of Saturn … located at the base of the middle finger.
Mount of the Sun … located at the base of the ring finger.
Mount of Mercury … located at the base of the little finger.
Second Mount of Mars … located below the Mount of Mercury.
Mount of the Moon … located below the Second Mount of Mars.
Mount of Venus … located on the right side enclosed by the Life Line, specifically at the point where the thumb and index finger form an angle, extending horizontally downward along the right side of that line.
First Mount of Mars … located between the Mount of Jupiter and the Mount of Venus.
Mount of Jupiter
Individuals with a well-developed Mount of Jupiter exhibit exceptional intellect and strong self-esteem. They possess a keen ambition for fame, wealth, and power, striving relentlessly to achieve these goals.
While they demonstrate determination, resilience, and the ability to carve out their own path, leading others as natural leaders, if they become arrogant, domineering, or overly proud, they risk bringing failure upon themselves and others.
Mount of Saturn
A prominent Mount of Saturn indicates sharp insight and the ability to shape one’s destiny through strong willpower and profound knowledge. Such individuals are likely to earn trust and respect from those around them, gaining recognition and reputation.
Conversely, they may also be prone to anxiety, feelings of loneliness, or a tendency toward reclusiveness, which could hinder the completion of major undertakings.
Mount of the Sun
Those with a developed Mount of the Sun tend to have a warm, honest, and open-hearted nature, combined with artistic talent and aesthetic sensibility—often referred to as "capable people." Due to their strong expression, persuasive skills, and sound financial sense, they are especially suited for success in business and practical endeavors.
Mount of the Moon
A well-developed Mount of the Moon indicates lofty ideals, rich imagination, introspective thinking, and the ability to handle matters with quick, insightful judgment. These individuals often enjoy prosperity in both spiritual and material aspects, capable of building a harmonious and fulfilling family life, with abundant descendants.
Mount of Venus
This mount signifies gentleness, warmth, and sincerity. Individuals with this mount express genuine affection toward parents, partners, and friends, and naturally receive love in return. They also possess inherent potential for growth in scholarship and craftsmanship.
Mounts of Mars and Mars Plain
A well-developed First Mount of Mars indicates a bold, adventurous spirit, courage under pressure, and the ability to start tasks and see them through to completion.
A well-developed Second Mount of Mars suggests indomitable perseverance, the capacity to endure hardship and humiliation, and fearless bravery in the face of adversity.
A full and developed Mars Plain indicates vigorous vitality and strong fortune in securing basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.
