What is a 'Chuan' palm, what is a 'Chuan' palm, the palm of the 'Chuan' palm

  What is a 'Chuan' palm?

What is a 'Chuan' palm? According to the most common explanation, a 'Chuan' palm is related to insight and cognitive ability, indicating a tendency for intuitive perception. A 'Chuan' palm often means mental excitement and a high level of physical energy. The effect of this psychological factor is: having courage, being brave, and having strong mental thinking. They have good insight and strong intuition, as well as a good sense of art, so people with a 'Chuan' palm have a forward-thinking awareness, and are good at perceiving and grasping unknown, future, and accidental events.

How is a 'Chuan' palm formed?

Generally speaking, children are raised by their mothers, so most people's life line starts connected with the wisdom line, which is called "person-shaped palm".

Usually, the two lines separate between the index finger and middle finger, which is the most normal type of palm.

The later they separate, the longer the time spent under the mother's care, and the stronger the dependency tends to be.

For women, it can still be acceptable, but for men, it is called "person-shaped palm", and after growing up, they lack independence.

On the contrary, the earlier the separation, the shorter the time spent under the mother's care. If the life line and wisdom line start separately, it is called "Chuan palm," indicating that the person has a weaker connection with their mother, and even if living with their mother, it is difficult to receive their mother's care and affection. From a young age, they are very independent, gradually becoming more confident, taking initiative in doing things, being proactive and responsible, making decisive decisions, and being clear in love and hate. Without proper guidance, they may become overly self-confident, subjective, and stubborn, leading to being too任性 (impulsive) in handling matters and people, thus affecting interpersonal relationships.

When the life line and wisdom line are separated and not connected, it is called "Chuan palm."

Palmists have given another definition for the head line: "The head line starts separately from the life line, so that the life line, head line, and love line form independent lines. This type of palm indicates strong independence. In love, one only knows oneself and not others, which can easily lead to unstable love and unhappy marriage."

What is a 'Chuan' palm—Historical records: The most accurate record of 'Chuan' palm in the Ming Dynasty

There are many different explanations about the concept of a 'Chuan' palm. The most accurate one comes from the Ming Dynasty, when Chen Que (1604-1677), a thinker during the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, from Hai Ning, Zhe Jiang. Originally named Dao Yong, he was later known as Que, with the style name Qianchu. Chen Que's book "Six Trigrams Palmistry" made a milestone contribution to the precise study of palmistry. The modern Hong Kong book "Illustrated Face Reading" extensively quotes Chen Que's "Six Trigrams Palmistry." In his work, Chen Que wrote, "A woman with a Chuan palm will have blessings in all things. A man with a Chuan palm will face difficulties in all things. A right-hand Chuan palm brings generations of blessings, while a left-hand Chuan palm brings endless wealth." The meaning of these words is that if a woman has a Chuan palm and activates her fortune, everything will go smoothly. If a man has a Chuan palm and does not activate his fortune, everything will be difficult. In reality, this is indeed true. People with a Chuan palm often encounter obstacles and interference from negative people. Their wealth, career, and expectations often differ greatly. People with a Chuan palm on the right hand are full of blessings and good fortune, while those with a Chuan palm on the left hand are full of infinite wealth.
