First of all, many people don't know whether to look at the left or right hand? In modern palmistry, the "left and right hands" have the following meanings in palm reading: the left represents "innate," and the right represents "acquired." In other words, "the left hand is innate, the right hand is acquired." A more colloquial way to put it is that the right hand has a greater influence, while the left hand has less. It can be said that the right hand accounts for 80% of the influence in determining auspiciousness or misfortune, while the left hand accounts for 20%. Therefore, when judging palm lines, the right hand is mainly used, and then the left hand is used to add or subtract for auspiciousness or misfortune. (This is for reference only; accumulating virtue and doing good deeds is the foundation of good luck.)
1. Life Line
The life line not only reflects the length of life, health condition, presence of illness or accidents, but also serves as a place for preventing disasters and improving one's condition. The life line starts from the edge of the palm between the thumb and index finger and runs towards the bottom of the palm. The length of the life line does not represent the length of life, but rather the strength of vitality. Therefore, the life line should actually be called the "vitality line."
A long, deep, and ruddy life line indicates strong vitality and resistance to diseases, making it less likely to fall ill, while the opposite suggests weakness. A thick line is suitable for labor or sports, and a thin line is suitable for mental work.
2. Life Line (1)
If there is a fish-shaped pattern at the beginning of the life line (near the edge of the palm), it indicates that the child may be weak and prone to illness during childhood.
3. Life Line (2)
If the end of the life line has a tassel-like shape, it is a warning for old age illnesses. If there are island patterns on the life line, it indicates illness or hospitalization at a certain time. The size of the island pattern represents the severity of the illness and the duration of the period.
4. Career Line
The career line rises from the bottom of the palm upwards. Some people's career lines can reach the base of the middle finger and are also known as the fate line. Some career lines are not a single straight line, but are broken into several parts, indicating an unstable job or frequent changes in work environment. If the career line stops at the brain line (Intelligence Line), it means that the person stops working based on their own wisdom. If it stops at an island pattern, it indicates that the person stops working due to emotional issues.
Having two career lines allows someone to take on part-time jobs or develop another side business.
