1. What is 'Face Reading'?
The so-called 'face reading' is an academic discipline that interprets a person's fate by observing their 'facial features'. Everyone has heard the saying, "the face reflects the mind", which means that a person's personality, thoughts, and moral character can be seen from their face. Therefore, everyone should cultivate good hearts, hold kind thoughts, speak kindly, and do good deeds. Only in this way can your appearance be dignified and likable.
I remember once when I went to a friend's house, we were chatting downstairs when suddenly I saw someone enter the apartment building's staircase and said, "That person looks like a bad guy!" My friend replied, "You're really smart, he just got out of prison!" In fact, from such a distance, I couldn't see his face clearly, but from his outline and walking style, he definitely wasn't a good person.
The above example tells us that a person's 'appearance' has auspicious or inauspicious implications. A person with a kind heart usually has a kind face; a person with an evil heart usually has an evil face. However, the opposite is not necessarily true. There is a saying, "a kind face with an evil heart," meaning a person who looks kind but actually has an evil heart; there is also another saying, "an evil face with a kind heart," meaning a person who looks evil but actually has a kind heart. In short, face reading requires professional knowledge and is not easy to judge. Although some sensitive people may intuitively judge some aspects of face reading, it cannot be used to fully determine the auspiciousness or inauspiciousness of a face. Professional fortune-telling analysis is still needed.
There are many important tools for face reading analysis, among which the most important are the 'Five Organs', 'Three Sections', and 'Twelve Palaces'. The following will explain them separately.
2. What are the 'Five Organs' in Face Reading?
People often say, "What's the 'five organs' of that person...; what's the 'five organs' of this person..." But few people understand exactly what the 'five organs' are. In fact, the 'five organs' are part of the study of face reading.
The so-called 'five organs' refer to the five human organs: 'ears, eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth'. In face reading, each of these is given a specific name as follows:
(1) Ears: known as the 'Auditory Official.'
(2) Eyebrows: known as the 'Life Protection Official.'
(3) Eyes: known as the 'Inspector Official.'
(4) Nose: known as the 'Judgment Official.'
(5) Mouth: known as the 'In-and-Out Official.'
Through the analysis of the 'five organs,' basic face readings can be done, and the auspiciousness or inauspiciousness of a person's destiny can be judged. Usually, the eyebrows relate to health and status; the eyes relate to a person's willpower and moral character; the nose relates to wealth and health; the mouth relates to happiness, food, and the presence of benevolent people; and the ears relate to longevity.
3. What are the 'Three Sections' in Face Reading?
In addition to the aforementioned 'five organs', there is also a concept called the 'Three Sections' in face reading. See the face diagram 1 below,
