In traditional Chinese physiognomy, there are many interesting methods to help people determine the sex of a baby while the mother is pregnant. Since ancient times, there were no advanced devices like X-rays, so the ancients gradually summarized a set of methods based on long-term observation and practice to determine the gender of the baby through physiognomy. Today, I will introduce some of these methods to you, hoping they can be of some reference for you.

Method 1: Observe the mother's facial complexion

As mentioned earlier, mothers carrying a male infant usually have strong vitality, which can also be reflected in their complexion. It mainly manifests as the skin below the eyes being pale and glossy with a moist appearance. Additionally, the skin between the eyebrows appears bright and not dark, and the tip of the nose is also bright and clean. Mothers with such a complexion often have a higher probability of giving birth to a male infant, and the baby's development and health condition are usually ideal. On the contrary, if the skin above the eyes appears dark and dull, it often indicates insufficient vitality, meaning the chance of giving birth to a female infant is higher. For mothers with this kind of complexion, family members should provide more nutritional supplements to compensate for the lack of vitality in the womb, which is beneficial for both the mother and the baby.

Method 2: Observe the mother's demeanor

In the theory of physiognomy, the mother's demeanor holds an important position. The clarity or turbidity of her demeanor directly affects the physical development of the baby in the womb. Therefore, one of the methods used in physiognomy to determine the baby's gender is by observing the mother's demeanor. Specifically, if the baby is a boy, the mother's complexion is good, and she has sufficient vitality. Her demeanor shows that she is usually energetic and calm, with graceful behavior and less impatience, anxiety, or restlessness. Mothers with such a demeanor are believed in physiognomy to indicate a higher likelihood of giving birth to a male infant, and the baby will be healthy and happy after birth. Conversely, if the mother's demeanor is often chaotic, dull, or distracted, and her emotions are unstable, it is considered that the mother's vitality in the womb is slightly insufficient, thus increasing the probability of giving birth to a female infant. As family members of the mother, we should pay more attention to providing her with adequate nutrition and ensuring her rest to replenish her vitality in the womb, helping her give birth to a smart and lovely baby.

Method 3: Observe the fetal movement

In physiognomy, another method to determine the gender of the baby is to observe the fetal movement. "Fetal movement" refers to the activity of the baby inside the mother's body. In traditional Chinese physiognomy, if the mother's fetal movement is regular and rhythmic, it often indicates a high probability of giving birth to a male infant. Moreover, if the fetal movement is uniform and smooth, it symbolizes good development of the baby, so the baby is less likely to suffer from diseases after birth and is easier to raise. On the contrary, if the mother's fetal movement is often irregular and unstable, it often indicates a higher probability of giving birth to a female infant in physiognomy. Therefore, as family members of the mother, paying attention to the fetal movement can not only help understand the baby's development but also serve as an effective way to determine the baby's gender.

Method 4: Observe the mother's abdomen

In traditional Chinese physiognomy, there is a classic saying to determine the baby's gender: "A boy clings to the mother, a girl leans on the mother." This phrase is very vivid and serves as a small technique for determining the baby's gender. "A boy clings to the mother, a girl leans on the mother" means that when looking at the mother's abdomen, if it appears in a "clinging" shape (the abdomen protrudes forward, as if holding something in front of the stomach), it often indicates a high probability of giving birth to a male infant. Conversely, if the abdomen appears in a "leaning" shape (the protruding part of the abdomen is obvious, and the back and sides are wider, as if the abdomen is carrying something), it often indicates a higher probability of giving birth to a female infant. Therefore, observing the mother's abdomen can also help identify the baby's gender to some extent.

The above several interesting methods of determining the baby's gender in physiognomy are easy to grasp and accept. Here, I wish all the newborn babies to be healthy and have everything go smoothly.
