Feng Shui is a profound and time-honored art of the Chinese nation. Wind represents energy and field force, while water symbolizes movement and change. Feng Shui was originally a method of land surveying, which involves examining the geographical conditions on-site. Want to learn more about Feng Shui? Come and check out Huayi Zhaoming website!

Forbidden Feng Shui Practices Outside the Front Door

1. There should not be tall and long flagpoles in front of the main door, nor should it face electric poles, traffic signal poles, or other similar structures. This can unconsciously affect people's nervous systems and heart.
2. There should not be large rocks blocking the path in front of the main door, nor should there be landscape features made with large stones. This can lead to continuous troubles and negatively impact career development. Rocks absorb natural energy and are associated with yin energy. A large rock in front of the door can increase yin energy, allowing this negative energy to enter the building, which may have adverse effects on the people inside.
3. There should not be vines wrapped around trees, nor should the door directly face large trees or dead trees. This can block the entry of positive energy and allow negative energy and dampness to enter the house, which is harmful to health and wealth. During thunderstorms, lightning can easily strike if there are large trees in front of the door, so it is not advisable to have large trees directly in front of the main door.
4. Trees can be planted on both sides of the main door. If you choose to plant trees, they must remain lush and healthy, without yellow leaves or ant nests. Otherwise, the energy will be damaged, which is very unfavorable for one's career or election prospects.
5. When the main door faces various unchangeable environmental factors such as electric poles, alleys, large trees, or the corners of opposite walls, it is necessary to consult a professional Feng Shui master to make adjustments. It is important to match the surrounding scenery and Feng Shui conditions, and appropriately install items like Ba Gua mirrors or concave-convex mirrors to reduce negative energies.
As a general rule, if you want to neutralize the negative energy from the opposing side, a convex mirror is suitable. If you wish to absorb the energy from the opposing side, a concave mirror is recommended. Do not install these mirrors on your own; always seek the advice of an expert Feng Shui master. If the negative energy comes from a dead-end alley, deep valley, nearby mountain, river, or fork in the road, even using two mirrors might not be sufficient. In such cases, it may be best to relocate, as even a Feng Shui master cannot help.
