Now almost every household has a balcony, and the feng shui of each family's balcony is quite different. To have a good balcony feng shui, it is essential to pay attention to the direction of the balcony. What are the feng shui considerations for balcony orientation?

What are the feng shui considerations for balcony orientation?

Reverse Bow Road
What is a reverse bow road? It refers to a road that, when viewed from a high place in the distance, forms a curved arc shape, like a bow, and is thus called a reverse bow road. In feng shui, this type of road generates strong negative energy (sha qi), so it should be avoided. If the balcony faces the bow side of this road and is relatively close, the negative energy will directly enter the house, leading to a decline in the residents' career and wealth.
Crossroad (T-junction)
A T-junction is easy to understand—it is where two roads meet at a right angle, and the junction forms a three-way intersection. The dust and noise here are very severe, which can lead to pollution and feng shui issues. If the balcony directly faces this intersection, the negative energy can easily enter the house. Moreover, the greater the traffic volume at the intersection, the more serious the harm becomes.
Balcony Door Facing North
In general, the living room is located to the south, naturally facing south. This layout not only ensures sufficient lighting but also keeps the yang energy in the living room strong, making it less likely to accumulate yin energy, which is beneficial for the prosperity of the household. However, there are special cases, such as when the living room and balcony are set up on the north side. In such a layout, it is best to place some potted flowers or plants on the balcony to use the natural vitality of plants to compensate for the lack of yang energy and try to neutralize the yin sha qi.
