"The Wheel of Fate" controls everyone's destiny. When the wheel starts to spin, whether it brings good luck or misfortune is unknown. Fate is unpredictable, but it is something everyone must accept. The Tarot cards of the Rider-Waite deck are divided into the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. Huayi Divination Network has compiled the meanings of the Rider-Waite Tarot cards. Let's take a look together!

Description of the Card

In the blue sky, the Wheel of Fate hangs, consisting of three layers, which coincides with the three pipes of the High Priestess. The innermost circle has no symbols, representing emptiness, symbolizing the creation of all things; the middle circle has four alchemical symbols, corresponding to the four elements of Western material composition, symbolizing the formation of all things; the outermost circle is engraved with "TAROT," symbolizing the created world. On the left side of the wheel is the evil god of Egyptian mythology — a snake, whose head pointing downward indicates the decline in life; while Anubis, who carries the Wheel of Fate, symbolizes the desire to bear fate. At the top of the Wheel of Fate is the Sphinx, said to be a symbol of wisdom, whose sword represents thinking, perhaps suggesting that understanding the truth of life through reflection is the true way to gain favorable conditions. The four corners of the card depict a lion, an eagle, an angel, and a bull, which correspond exactly to the symbols in the middle circle of the Wheel of Fate, i.e., the four elements of fire, water, air, and earth.
Interpretation of the Card Meaning: The wheel in the sky keeps turning, indicating that fate, like the wheel, keeps changing. As the saying goes, "Ten years east of the river, ten years west of the river," and "The wind and water change places," the turning point seems to be right before your eyes.
Upright
In the upright position of the Wheel of Fortune, Anubis, who is rising with the wheel, is the guide of the dead souls and also the beginning of new life. Anubis provides protection, especially spiritual protection. From death to rebirth, you can find new opportunities through change. The Sphinx with a sword at the top of the wheel can transcend the current situation and see the causes of events, allowing you to understand more about the laws of cause and effect. In love, you meet someone who meets your expectations in every aspect.
Reversed
The appearance of the reversed Wheel of Fortune signifies that you are unwilling to accept the sadness in life. When facing changes, you will close off emotionally in all aspects, considering this as your natural attitude. However, you refuse to accept failure, so you may lose or waste opportunities. Nevertheless, the river of life will continue to flow. In love, you experience changes and must accept them, even though you don't want to.
The Wheel of Fortune's Advice to the Moon
If you want to achieve a certain goal, learn not to let those who want to use it but do not respect it get close to it.
