Card Description
In the blue sky hangs the Wheel of Fate, composed of three layers, which corresponds to the three pipes of the Hierophant. The inner circle contains no symbols, representing emptiness, symbolizing the creation of all things; the middle circle has four alchemical symbols, corresponding to the four elements of Western material composition, symbolizing the formation of all things; the outermost circle is engraved with the word "TAROT," symbolizing the created world. On the left side of the wheel is the evil god of Egyptian mythology — a snake, whose head is downward, indicating the decline in life. Anubis, who carries the Wheel of Fate, symbolizes the desire to bear fate. At the top of the Wheel of Fate is a sphinx, said to be a symbol of wisdom, with a sword in its hand representing thought, perhaps suggesting that seeking the truth of life through reflection is the true way to gain favorable circumstances. The four corners of the card depict a lion, an eagle, an angel, and a bull, corresponding exactly to the symbols in the central circle of the Wheel of Fate, i.e., the four elements: fire, water, air, and earth.
Interpretation of the Card Meaning: The wheel in the sky keeps turning, indicating that fate, like the wheel, keeps changing. As the saying goes, "Ten years on the east bank, ten years on the west bank," and "The wind turns, the wheel turns," implying that a turning point is already before you.
Upright
Fate will now change. Under the shadow of failure, the sun pushes away the clouds. The question of the Tower is almost prepared for the upright Wheel of Fate, and the answer from the Wheel of Fate is: everything around you is changing. Your body regains strength, your mind breaks free from its constraints, and gets the breathing it deserves. Luck is reviving, long-stalled plans or relationships are back on track, and new hopes and beliefs support you. Seize the opportunity before you, which will be your chance to move forward.
Reversed
The reversed Wheel of Fate slowly turns downward, indicating that you have been immersed in your own state, allowing it to take control. The sword in the hands of the Sphinx pins the eagle in the clouds, and the eagle represents the Scorpio zodiac sign, known for its sharp thinking and strong action. This suggests that your inner strength has not yet recovered and is even being lost. You cannot focus on a single task, yet you expect success from it, creating a vicious cycle. In love, you face the destruction of the Tower and the dual impact of the reversed Wheel of Fate, so you are truly unable to find happiness. It would be best to end it, only by letting go can you have a real new beginning.
The Wheel of Fate's Warning to the Tower
Everything is changing, constantly evolving. With the change of things, our thoughts must also change accordingly.
