Description of the Card
There is the Wheel of Fortune hanging in the blue sky, consisting of three layers, which corresponds exactly with the three-tiered pipe of the High Priestess. The innermost circle has no symbols, representing emptiness, symbolizing the creation of all things; the middle circle has four alchemical symbols, corresponding to the four elements of Western material composition, symbolizing the formation of all things; the outermost circle has the word "TAROT," symbolizing the world that has been created. On the left side of the wheel is the evil god of Egyptian mythology - a snake, whose head is downward, indicating the decline in life; while Anubis, who carries the Wheel of Fortune, represents the longing for bearing fate; as for the sphinx on top of the Wheel of Fortune, it is said to be a symbol of wisdom, and its sword in hand represents thinking, perhaps implying that facing the truth of life through reflection is the real way to gain favorable conditions. The four corners of the card image are lion, eagle, angel, and bull, which correspond to the symbols in the middle circle of the Wheel of Fortune, i.e., the four elements of fire, water, air, and earth.
Interpretation of the Card Meaning: The wheel in the sky keeps turning, indicating that fate also keeps changing like the wheel. As the saying goes, "Ten years east of the river, ten years west of the river," and "The wind and water change places." A turning point seems to be right before you.
Upright
The sword in the Wheel of Fortune is tilted, suggesting that things may not be as easy to understand as you initially thought. The sphinx sitting at the top of the wheel represents that only those who act alertly can uncover the essence of things. You can see through the surface of life and know what you need. Moreover, you understand that valuable knowledge lies within the events currently taking place and their causes. In love, there are good opportunities, and the love you hope for is almost achievable.
Reversed
In the reversed Wheel of Fortune, the wheel is flipping downward. We all hope to have a better life and maintain it forever, but if challenges never appear, we will find it difficult to learn anything. The reversed Wheel of Fortune brings change, and this kind of change could be difficult. It implies the need to fight against these events, but usually, it is futile. In love, don't force too much, let go if it's not yours.
Admonition from the Wheel of Fortune to Temperance
All things have ups and downs; don't limit yourself to the current state, because it is not eternal.
