Card Description
The Magician holds his right hand high, gripping a staff pointing towards the sky, while his left hand is lowered with the index finger pointing down to the ground, making himself the bridge between heaven and earth. On the table before him are the four elements that symbolize the Western material composition — Wands (fire element), Cups (water element), Swords (air element), and Pentacles (earth element), which also represent the four suits of the Minor Arcana in the Tarot. The Magician wears a red robe, symbolizing passion and initiative, while his white inner garment shows his pure and wise heart. A coiled silver snake is wrapped around his waist, with its head eating its tail, indicating cycles and enlightenment. The infinity symbol above its head shows the boundless power. The number of the Magician in the Tarot is I, which signifies the beginning, and also acts as a communication between the Major and Minor Arcana.
