The Qimen Dunjia is a gem of Chinese divination and one of China's secret arts. So, what are the steps of the Yinfu Qimen judgment method? The Ba Zi Divination section on Huayi Network will help you understand your destiny.

Yinfu Qimen Judgment Method:

First, the Method of Determining the Strength and Weakness of the Day Master
Analyzing the strength and weakness of the day master is the first step to accurately identify the favorable and unfavorable elements in Qimen Dunjia. It is also the foundation for prediction after setting up the Qimen diagram. The methods for analyzing the strength and weakness of the day master are as follows:
1. Check the Month Branch
The month branch (month pillar) is an important measure for determining the strength and weakness of the day stem. Its influence on the day stem is very significant. The method can be summarized in one sentence: take the day stem as the center and determine the strength and weakness of the day stem based on its relationship with the month branch.
(1) The influence of the month branch on the day stem determines 50% of the day stem's strength or weakness.
If the month branch supports the day stem, there is a 50% chance that the day stem is strong. At this time, if either the year stem, day branch, or hour stem also supports the day stem, the day stem is considered strong.
(2) The influence of the month branch on the day stem determines 50% of the day stem's strength or weakness.
If the month branch restrains the day stem, there is a 50% chance that the day stem is weak. At this time, if either the year stem, day branch, or hour stem also restrains the day stem, the day stem is considered weak.
(3) When the month branch is restrained twice in the fate chart, the influence of the month branch on the day stem is less than 50%.
The influence of the month branch on the day stem accounts for 50%, and it also has a decisive role in the influence on other stems and branches. The month branch is the standard for measuring the strength and weakness of the seven characters in the fate chart.
Comment by the Taoist: There is a situation where the year stem, day branch, and hour stem all act contrary to the month branch in supporting the day stem. For example, if the month branch supports the day stem, but the year stem, day branch, and hour stem all restrain or drain the day stem. In such cases, if the year branch supports the month branch, the power of the month branch increases, and the day stem becomes strong. If the hour branch further drains the year stem and day branch, the day stem will definitely be strong.
2. The influence of the four earthy graves (Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei) on the strength and weakness of the day master is a factor in determining its strength or weakness.
(1) A yang stem born in the month of the grave is not considered strong (for example, Jia born in the month of Wei, Bing and Wu born in the month of Xu, Geng born in the month of Chou, Ren born in the month of Chen).
(2) If a yang stem encounters the year branch, day branch, or hour branch as a grave, it is considered to have a root.
(3) Bing Xu, Ren Chen, Gui Chou, Ding Wei are considered to have roots for the heavenly stems.
(4) Jia and Yi encountering Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei are all considered to represent wealth.
(5) If the use element encounters a grave, it should not be taken as auspicious or inauspicious (for example, if the use element in the fate chart is Bing, and it encounters Xu in the great cycle or Xu in the yearly cycle, it is not considered as Bing fire entering the grave and thus not inauspicious).
(6) Chen and Chou do not support Wu and Ji earth (Chen and Chou are wet earth, like mud, which cannot support Wu and Ji earth).
(7) Chen and Chou earth produce Geng, Xin, Shen, and You metal.
(8) Chen and Chou earth obscure fire and do not restrict water.
(9) When there are many water elements in the fate chart, Chen and Chou are considered as water (that is, when water is the month branch).
(10) Xu and Wei can support Wu and Ji earth.
(11) Xu and Wei weaken metal (Xu and Wei are dry earth, like burning charcoal, which weakens metal, and their ability to weaken metal is slightly weaker than that of Si, Wu, Bing, and Ding fire).
(12) Xu and Wei restrict water but do not drain fire.
(13) When there are many fire elements in the fate chart, Xu and Wei are considered as fire (that is, when fire is the month branch).
(14) The grave of Jia, Wei earth, regardless of whether it is in the year branch, day branch, or hour branch, is considered a draining element and does not support the day master.
(15) When Bing, Ding, Ren, and Gui encounter Chen and Chou, Chen and Chou are considered as water; when Jia and Yi encounter Chen and Chou, they are considered as wealth; when Geng and Xin encounter Chen and Chou, they are considered as an inheritance.
(16) When Bing, Ding, Geng, and Xin encounter Xu and Wei, Xu and Wei are considered as fire; when Wu and Ji encounter Xu and Wei, they are considered as siblings; when Jia and Yi encounter Xu and Wei, they are considered as wealth.
In addition, any fate chart that does not conform to the "Yang Support" pattern is considered a "From" pattern, meaning either from strength or from weakness.
Second, Determine the Favorable and Unfavorable Elements of the Day Master
1. The "Support and Restrain" Method
The principle of the "Support and Restrain" method is: support or restrain the day master, and control the adverse elements.
2. The "From" Pattern Method
The use element is the five elements that either generate or restrain the day master in the four pillars. From strength means that there is no element in the four pillars that can restrain the day master, so the use element is chosen as the element that generates or supports the day master, making the strong even stronger. Conversely, from weakness means choosing the element that weakens the day master as the use element, making it even weaker.
Note: The above method for determining the strength and weakness of the day master is based on the new school of Ba Zi. Of course, there are different methods among various schools, but they are basically applicable.
Third, Observe the Relationship Between the Day Master and the Sitting Palace, and Determine the Support or Restrain of the Sitting Palace
If the day master is strong, it needs support, and the sitting palace should be the element that supports the day master. If the day master is weak, it needs reinforcement, and the sitting palace should be the element that generates or supports the day master. If the day master is from strength, choose the element that generates or supports the day master. If it is from weakness, choose the element that restrains or drains the day master. This is the principle of yin-yang harmony according to Laozi, knowing white and guarding black, knowing strength and guarding weakness, and the principle that the Dao moves in the opposite direction.
Through the above steps, we can determine the favorable and unfavorable elements of the palaces, gates, stars, and stems in a Qimen diagram.
Follow the Heaven's Law
First, observe the overall situation.
Take the day master's sitting palace as the body, and check the favorable or unfavorable elements of the use element's palace. For example, if the day master's sitting palace needs support, then the use element's palace should be the palace of the element that supports or generates it, which is considered favorable; otherwise, it is considered unfavorable. The use element's palace in the overall situation also needs to consider the strength or weakness during the four seasons and each ten-day period to determine whether the use element's palace is effective. The favorable or unfavorable relationship between the use element's palace and the day master's palace can determine whether the outcome of the event will succeed. If the person being consulted is not oneself, first separately examine the favorable or unfavorable relationship between the use element's palace representing the person being consulted and the day master's palace, determine the favorable or unfavorable elements of the use element's palace, and then examine how the use element's palace interacts with the day master's palace after the action to determine the success or failure.
Observe the Small Situation
In the small situation, the stars and gates play a role in promoting or delaying the progress of the matter. The small situation should serve the entire Qimen diagram. If the stars, gates, and stems in the small situation have a positive effect on the use element's palace, the matter will succeed at the time corresponding to the element of the star, gate, and stem that has a positive effect. Otherwise, it will fail at that time. If the use element's palace has a negative effect on the day master's palace, but the stars, gates, and stems within the use element's palace can suppress the negative effects, then the matter will have a turning point at the time corresponding to the element of the stars, gates, and stems. Similarly, if the use element's palace has a positive effect but the stars, gates, and stems within it have a negative effect, the matter will face obstacles at the time corresponding to the element of the stars, gates, and stems.
Judgment
Through the analysis of the large and small situations, determine the auspicious or inauspicious outcomes and the timing. By combining the bagua categories and the five elements properties of the stars, gates, stems, and deities, along with the k Ying (karmic response), patterns, etc., judge the situation of the matter.

Destiny, also known as fate and luck, refers to a pattern composed of fixed numbers and variable factors. Fate and luck are two different concepts. Do you know your destiny? Click on the following premium calculation to predict your destiny.
