The Qimen Dunjia is an ancient Chinese divination text and is considered the first of the three great secrets among Qimen, Liuyin, and Taiyi. It is regarded as the leading of the three methods. So, what is the Yin-style Qimen chart? What is the difference between Yin-style and Yang-style Qimen charts? Huayi Network has prepared detailed content about Qimen Dunjia for you. Hurry up and take a look in the special section.

The differences between Yin-style Qimen chart and Yang-style Qimen chart:

First, the method of forming the chart differs.
The formation of the Yang-style Qimen chart is related to the solar cycle (solar calendar), based on the twenty-four solar terms and the sixty Jiazi cycles. Each solar term is divided into upper, middle, and lower parts, each part being five days corresponding to one chart.
A year has 365 days, which divided by 24, each solar term is not exactly 15 days. The solar term and the Jiazi cycle often do not match, so additional methods such as splitting and inserting leap months are used to calculate the number of charts, requiring consideration of many factors, which is relatively complex.
The formation of the Yin-style Qimen chart is based on the lunar cycle (lunar calendar). The information of year, month, day, and hour corresponds to their respective lunar numbers. After adding them together, divide by 9, and the remainder becomes the chart number (if divisible, use 9 as the chart number).
Second, the focus of interpretation differs.
Yang-style Qimen Dunjia emphasizes "techniques" and focuses on "patterns." In the initial stage of learning, it is necessary to memorize a large number of specific combinations that correspond to patterns. For example, the nine heavenly stems on the sky plate (Jia hidden) and the nine heavenly stems on the earth plate can be combined into 81 patterns, each corresponding to a "judgment." When predicting, recall the pattern judgment according to the combination, and then make further logical deduction and analysis based on the relationship between the patterns.
Yin-style Qimen Dunjia does not require rote memorization of patterns but emphasizes "mind techniques" and focuses on "symbolic representation." Each symbol in Yin-style Qimen has rich meanings, and the combination of symbolic meanings changes infinitely, forming new meanings. Therefore, interpreting Yin-style Qimen only requires understanding the meaning of each symbol and combining it with specific time and space and human affairs to interpret the real meaning of the symbol combinations.
Third, Yang-style Qimen "assesses auspiciousness and inauspiciousness," while Yin-style Qimen "has no auspiciousness or inauspiciousness."
In Yang-style Qimen, symbols have both auspicious and inauspicious patterns, as well as auspicious and inauspicious deities, auspicious and inauspicious gates, etc. Some patterns become more auspicious when encountering auspicious elements and more inauspicious when encountering inauspicious ones.
In Yin-style Qimen, symbols have neither auspicious nor inauspicious, but simply describe a state of energy.
Fourth, Yang-style Qimen focuses on prediction, while Yin-style Qimen can be used for feng shui adjustment.
Yang-style Qimen can analyze and predict, but cannot change the occurrence of events, i.e., there are no so-called adjustment methods.
While Yin-style Qimen can use feng shui treatment methods such as "splitting and supplementing" and "moving stars and changing constellations" to enhance beneficial energy, remove harmful energy, or move it to another palace to achieve the purpose of avoiding misfortune and seeking good fortune.

Destiny, also known as fate and luck, refers to a pattern formed by a combination of fixed numbers and variable numbers. Fate and luck are two different concepts. Do you know your destiny? Click on the following premium calculation to predict your destiny.
