If the day master is weak and cannot bear this pressure, it indicates that the individual lacks the ability to handle an official position, and health issues may arise, limiting their career development. Hence, they are not suitable for pursuing a political career.
If the official stars are strong and receive support, they become excessively powerful. Seeing multiple official stars leads to them turning into Qisha (seven kill), which further harms the body. This makes the person prone to chronic diseases and poor health. Moreover, multiple official stars indicate that the official status is not genuine, making it hard to achieve true official titles. These individuals tend to be rigid and lack innovation, lacking authority and initiative. Therefore, it is better for them not to pursue an official career.
If they are already officials and experience favorable fortune in the financial stage, extra caution is required. While the financial star can support the official star, multiple official stars will compete for the financial resources, like sharing spoils, leading to potential misfortunes.

When the body elements are strong, Yinshou naturally becomes an unwanted element. If there are many and strong Yinshou in the chart, since the official star can generate Yinshou, the official star itself becomes an undesirable element. Since the official star is not desired, it is difficult to be a good "official." Therefore, it is better for them to stay away from the "political arena."

If the day master is weak, the individual lacks the strength to take on an official role. If they force themselves into such a position, the official star, as an unwanted element, introduces a harmful force, leading to frequent accidents. In the Ba Zi, if the official star and seven kill are mixed, the configuration must be able to eliminate the seven kill and retain the official star, or eliminate the official star and retain the seven kill, to have a chance at an official career. Otherwise, the mix of official and seven kill energy causes instability, inconsistency, and a lack of achievements, making it unsuitable for a political career.
When both the official star and seven kill appear on the heavenly stems, or when the official star or seven kill does not appear on the heavenly stems but appears in the earthly branches, it is called "official-star and seven-kill mixing."

If there is no financial star to transform the Shangguan, it is best to stay away from the political arena, otherwise, they will struggle to develop.

Alternatively, they may be better suited for cultural or educational roles that require innovation and expertise. If Shangguan is not fully eliminated, it requires financial or Yinshou elements to relieve it. Without relief, the negative traits of Shangguan cannot be effectively suppressed, leading to continuous disputes and official troubles. Therefore, staying away from the political arena is the best option.
