In traditional Chinese fate analysis, determining the strength or weakness of a person's "Ba Zi" (eight characters) is an important step in analyzing their destiny. This article will delve into the concept of "Cong Qiang Ge" (following the strong), and analyze whether the day pillar is strong or weak through the "Wang Shuai Method" in the Ba Zi. Understanding this knowledge can help us better grasp our fortune and optimize life choices.

The "Wang Shuai Method" in the "Use God" Series
Hello everyone, I'm Yong Tang! Welcome to the small classroom on the "Wang Shuai Method" in the "Use God" series of Ba Zi. This update has been delayed for quite some time, partly because I was studying abroad, partly because my friends there were very enthusiastic, and partly because the "Use God" series in Ba Zi is really difficult to plan. First, as usual, a small advertisement for the courtyard: if you have any good suggestions or questions, please add the courtyard. The number of Yixue masters at the courtyard has now expanded to four, and they are all excellent in their respective fields, each being no less than Master Yong Tang.
The Importance of Selecting the "Use God"
The most important step in the process of interpreting a Ba Zi is selecting the "Use God." Interpreting Ba Zi can be understood as a doctor diagnosing a patient, and selecting the "Use God" is like prescribing medicine. Once we know the "Use God" of the Ba Zi, we can determine the auspiciousness or inauspiciousness of events in different years, and also improve our fortune through subjective consciousness in life, such as clothing colors, jewelry combinations, house layout, name elements, suitable directions, etc.
The "Wang Shuai Method" for Selecting the "Supportive and Restraint Use God"
There are five ways to select the "Yi Ji Use God," and the most commonly used and simplest method is the "Supportive and Restraint Use God," which is called the "Wang Shuai Method." As the name suggests, it involves analyzing whether the day pillar is strong or weak in the overall Ba Zi to determine if the day pillar is strong or weak. If it is strong, it needs to be drained or consumed; if it is weak, it needs support. Different methods of selecting the "Use God" will be discussed in detail later.
How to Determine Whether the Day Pillar is Strong or Weak
First, we need to arrange the Ba Zi, and we recommend apps like "Wen Zhen Ba Zi" and "Lun Ba Zi." If you don't know how to arrange the Ba Zi, please watch the video here. After arranging the Ba Zi, find your day pillar and clarify its five elements attribute. After determining the five elements of your day pillar, the next step is to refer to the overall information of the Ba Zi. We look at the month command, the earth branches, and the heavenly stems, and count the ones that are in command, on the ground, and receive support. Based on the specific situation, we divide them into eight categories to distinguish whether the day pillar is strong or weak.
Analysis of Special Patterns
Again, it should be emphasized that there are five ways to select the "Yi Ji Use God." These five methods are: Supportive and Restraint Use God, Harmonizing Use God, Connecting Use God, Illness and Medicine Use God, and Exclusive Strength Use God. The "Wang Shuai Method" is just one of the five ways to diagnose the "Yi Ji" elements in the Ba Zi. Most ordinary Ba Zi can use this method as a reference for selecting the Use God. However, if you have a special pattern, it is recommended to seek the help of a professional and reliable feng shui master for a specialized analysis.

This article provides a detailed introduction on how to determine whether a person is strong or weak through the "Wang Shuai Method" in the Ba Zi, which is an important analytical step in the study of fate. By understanding the strength or weakness of the day pillar, we can better grasp our personal fortune and make corresponding adjustments in life. For those with special patterns, it is recommended to seek the help of a professional feng shui master to obtain more accurate analysis and advice.
